Vacation Substitute Wanted

We are looking for a girl or boy who wants to help us keep the factory running while the rest of us take a well-deserved vacation!

PQ Sweden AB manufactures sodium silicate, also known as water glass, and our customers are primarily in the pulp and paper industry. We are part of PQ Corporation, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of silicates.

We need a vacation substitute for our production facility in Skattkärr, just outside Karlstad. The work is done in two shifts:

🕕 06:00 – 14:00

🕑 14:00 – 22:00

One operator works per shift. Our experienced operators take turns with their vacations, ensuring that there is always a regular operator on site.

We would like you to start as early as May, so we have time to introduce you before you start working more independently.

About the Role

As a process operator, you will be responsible for controlling and monitoring production. You will also perform simple preventive maintenance to ensure quality and safety. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, meticulous, and safety-conscious.

Your Responsibilities

✔️ Control and monitor the production process

✔️ Document and report production data

✔️ Quality control of finished products

✔️ Loading and receiving goods

(Forklift and wheel loader licenses are a plus, but we can arrange forklift training if needed.)
